The on-site demonstration and promotion of new agricultural machinery in Guanghan City was successfully held

On October 29th, the cauliflower base in Liyan Village, Gaoping Town, Guanghan City was bustling with activity. A demonstration and promotion event for new agricultural 

machinery was held here, attracting more than 200 participants including agricultural practitioners, members of agricultural machinery professional cooperatives, large-scale grain 

growers, and agricultural machinery administrators from various towns and villages. This on-site meeting is in response to the provincial and municipal policies and measures to 

further support large-scale equipment updates and the trade in of consumer goods, promoting the transformation and upgrading of agricultural machinery and equipment towards 

large-scale, intelligent, and smart directions, and assisting in the modernization of agriculture.

Six agricultural machinery dealers from Deyang city came to participate in the exhibition, showcasing equipment covering the entire process of grain and oil crop cultivation, 

planting, management, prevention, harvesting, and drying. The exhibition also showcased advanced new energy unmanned tractors, pneumatic rapeseed seeders, rapeseed 

carpet seedling transplanters, unmanned towing machines, wheat precision seeders, and rapeseed breeding assembly lines.

At the on-site meeting, various advanced agricultural machinery and new tools were neatly arranged, like "steel warriors" waiting for inspection, involving multiple aspects of 

agricultural production from cultivation, harvesting to plant protection. Under the operation of on-site staff, brand new tractors, harvesters, seeders, and other equipment were 

demonstrated in an exciting way.

In the farmland demonstration area, a new type of new energy intelligent tractor has attracted much attention. It is equipped with advanced navigation system and autonomous 

driving function, which can accurately operate in the field, greatly improve the efficiency and quality of farmland, and reduce the labor intensity of farmers. After the operator sets 

the parameters in the cab, the tractor can automatically travel on the farmland according to the predetermined route, and its accuracy is commendable. On site, it was also 

compared and tested with a fuel powered autonomous tractor.

In the rapeseed seedling demonstration area, two rapeseed breeding assembly lines from different manufacturers were used for on-site operation demonstrations. Agricultural 

machinery technicians explained the basic performance, technical characteristics, and operating essentials of the equipment on site, allowing farmers to intuitively experience the 

advantages and disadvantages of different products.

The demonstration of the sowing process was equally exciting. The wheat precision seeder, rapeseed precision seeder, and rapeseed blanket seedling transplanter demonstrate 

efficient sowing ability. Wherever the seeder passes, the land is evenly plowed, and seeds and fertilizers are accurately sown in the soil. Several farmers on site expressed their 

willingness to purchase.

In addition to machine demonstrations, the on-site meeting also set up agricultural insurance, agricultural loans, agricultural machinery purchase and scrapping subsidy policies, 

and agricultural industry production safety publicity and consultation points, actively answering agricultural related questions for farmers. Everyone expressed that through this 

on-site meeting, they have gained a deeper understanding of the new agricultural machinery.

As of 6pm on October 29th, participating dealers have signed 130 contracts on-site, with a total amount of 15 million yuan, including 22 tractors, 36 harvesters, 11 unmanned 

aerial vehicles for crop protection, and 69 other machinery.

It is reported that Guanghan will continue to implement the policy of subsidizing the scrapping and updating of agricultural machinery, improve the level of agricultural 

mechanization development, vigorously promote the comprehensive mechanization process of agriculture, reduce the loss of grain machine income, promote the increase of 

grain yield per unit area, and promote the high-quality development of agricultural machinery in the city.

Next, Guanghan City will adhere to the overall idea of "highlighting strengths, addressing weaknesses, and seeking innovation", implement five major improvement projects, carry 

out fifteen specific actions, comprehensively improve the level of crop mechanization, and build a new pattern of high-quality development of agricultural mechanization. Strive to 

achieve a total power of over 310000 kilowatts for agricultural machinery and equipment in the city by 2026, significantly increase the number of agricultural machinery owned to 

45000 units (sets), and make important progress in the intelligent transformation of equipment; The comprehensive mechanization rate of main crop cultivation and harvesting 

has reached over 95%, achieving full mechanization. The mechanization level of characteristic agriculture such as green vegetables, high-quality fruits, and ecological breeding 

has been significantly improved, and the "Tianfu Good Opportunity" demonstration and leading area with comprehensive, high-quality, and efficient cultivation has been 

established in the province.
